I request that all new clients read through the following policies before arriving for their first session:
Cancellation Policy
I understand that sometimes things come up and schedules need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least six hours notice.
So far, I have not had to take deposits or charge cancellation fees; please respect my time so that I don’t have to in the future!
Sexual Conduct Policy
I have ZERO TOLERANCE for any behavior I deem sexually inappropriate. I do not provide any sort of sexual or erotic services. Period.
Sexually inappropriate behavior or speech will result in the termination of the session and permanent refusal of my services.
Inappropriate behaviors include:
- Attempts to touch me during a session
- Requests to perform sexual acts or sexual touch
- Inappropriate questions/attempts to discuss topics of a sexual or erotic nature
- Romantic/sexual advances
- Sexual jokes, innuendos, etc.
Unfortunately, I have had incidents which compelled me to share these policies with new clients. Please help me create a safe, relaxing environment for both client and therapist by refraining from the behaviors described above.
